Random non-bulleted thoughts:
The Astros traded a bunch of their guys, and still managed to shut us out in two consecutive games.
The got owned by some guy named Wandy.
This team's performance is not worth the internet ink I am using to recap.
COPS is probably on some channel on the satellite.
I am pretty sure we will at least score one run tomorrow, although I am admittedly intrigued by the potential "shut-out sweep".

Bright side
maybe some Astros fan will make another “Double Rainbow” You Tube clip.

Uecker during the 8th inning of his first game back
I just watched Arizona lose
on purpose. I had intended to watch Barry Enright, who of course got PHed for when I turned on the game. Can the Brewers tank on purpose, too? (Actually, no, because I don’t trust DM to draft anyone decent…or signable. Methinks Dylan Covey is going to college this fall.)
only the immense amount of shhhh re signing activity
…or I really missed 99% of the media coverage around the draft this year, which is probably the more plausible option.
The ironing is delicious:
We’re reluctant to trade Hart or Fielder because it would tell fans that they’ve given up on the year.
Then they get blanked in back to back games by a team that’s given up on the year.
Heh.

Probably not the sole reason, I agree.
But I think that was part of it.

Well
I would recommend Inception then. In my opinion one of the better movies I’ve seen in a long time.
