Braun, Gallardo, and Hart OH MY
No word yet if Weeks has made it but I think he's deserving as well. Keep adding to your trade value Corey!

Yeah...that's why we should trade him now!
I was disappointed with the lack of hookers but the pancakes were delightful

Very nice!
The more, the better….

Yes...though, I must admit after that comment
I had to wipe off the JS Commentary sweat

Looks like
you’ll get that wish, though not for the reason you wanted. :(
Stop the madness! Stop the losing!
Awesome
I kind of wish McGehee had made it, just so more people would actually know who he is, but three All-Stars on a team seven games below .500 is pretty cool.
Ryan Braun: He loves it.
This is also quite damning of the rest of the squad
If a team has three All-Stars, but is 8 games below .500 then they’re tossing out a terribly crappy team around them.

Well duh isn't that obvious?
One man's garbage is another man-person's good ungarbage.

Or McGehee
playing pretty medicorely for the last month?
Shruggity.

Well, it's not.
For the fans, it’s selecting the most popular players
For the manager, it’s a matter of snubbing a bunch of people, picking some undeserving fat guy on your own team, and wondering outloud for days on end whether the Pirates or the Astros even have a star.
Shruggity.
All-Star voting
I know this sounds wild…but I would love to see this change:
All-Star ballots that do not have ANY home team players. You can’t just vote for your guys. Of course this would mean that voters would have to think a little…

So...
if the best player at a particular position plays for your hometown team, then you’re forced to vote for someone less worthy?
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
yes
but the other 13-15 teams (depending on your league) can’t vote for their own guys, so you’ll probably get even MORE votes for the most deserving player.
Or, it could backfire and the AL could be represented by only red sox and yankees (and the NL by former sox/yankees + Mets + Cubs + god), because they get the most exposure and thus the most votes.
No, I mean: How do you prevent a voter from voting for his "home" team on an internet ballot?
Seems kind of pointless if it would only affect ballots handed out at the ballparks.
I think McGehee is probably more deserving to be a reserve
than Omar Infante.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
If only he were a utility player.
that could play all 7 (other than catcher) positions on the field.

Bah
His selection was because he brings depth to the bench? McGehee can play every IF position… including catcher.
