This has been an agonizing week.
Too close for missiles, I’m switching to Ueck.
it started so nice
on Monday. Then it went downhill very quickly.

Don't put it past them
They are capable of anything.

You know things are going bad
When Carlos Lee is robbing you of a base hit

Fielder stopped trying so he wouldn't be traded mid-year
Braun stopped trying to make Hart look better, so he would be traded for some help down the road.

Is FSN Wisconsin broadcasting today?
Extra Innings only has the Astros feed.

Thanks
they usually don’t split them up like that since the Astros are on 735.

Braun is due for more than just to lead off, BA
He has been looking far too human this season.

That's what I think too
He just isn’t hitting the ball with any authority the way he was early on this season. You hear all the time about players playing hurt and not telling anyone, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to hear come August that he had a muscle tear or something.

And the coaches have got to know
I mean, you can SEE the difference in his approach and his swing, why wouldn’t they insist on an MRI?
Maybe they will eventually
But if he gets cleared by the trainer, there’s really nothing they can do.

Can’t decide which one I would enjoy less, hitting instruction from Dale Sveum, or a pitching lesson from Trevor
WOW

Would've loved to see JJ do that
Esco isn’t having a ROY season, but he has showed some flashes of what he can be. Just gotta keep playing him, he can only get better.

An hour ago, it looked like today couldn't be worse than the last two days.
Now, Wesley Wright is a third of the way to a perfect game.
Now that's great tasting chicken!
we can't get help
until we hit rock bottom and admit that there is a problem.

It's a statement of how bad Carlos Gomez is right now
He’s been replaced in CF by a 40-year old with tendinitis in his leg. Ah, if only he were hitting like like he did back in April, his best month, when he lit it up with a blistering .269 average. Someone, please, teach him to hit.
I hear this Lorenzo Cain guy is pretty good
And he can hit

Can't wait
He looked so comfortable in his games when he was here, if he isn’t ready then he’s damn close.
They said that he needs AB's in AAA
That’s never stopped them before, this is basically another way of saying “we messed up the Hardy trade and aren’t willing to admit it”.

Best as I can tell
The Brewer franchise record for consecutive scoreless innings is 30, set in 1972.

Dear Brewers,

I'm confused as to why anyone would copy them
It’s local flavor. How could anyone enjoy the knockoffs, or even the concept? It’s just something we would do.
Exactly.
Taking it one step further. If you want to copy the racing sausages, why not at least try to make it look good. Most of the other costumes look like they were made in 6th grade home ed.

This isn't a game I would have expected to be a pitcher's duel
But here we are, scoreless through five
Time to break the scoreless streak

Heh, how fun would it be to see him trying to play the outfield though? JiggleJiggleJiggleJiggle

It's been a long time
Since I’ve seen an injury so directly and immediately change the course of a baseball game.
Well
We’re about 24 hours from Angel Salome deciding he’s ok with catching again.
Now that's great tasting chicken!
BA: "A little league home run."
That seems appropriate.

Series Over, Season Over
although this is nothing new to us. sigh…..
Hopefully we can trade Hart and Prince in the offseason…..
"No player is greater than a team."

Now the game is to watch the coaches and players
And try to figure out who cares, who doesn’t; who’s working on something, who’s just going through the motions, who’s worried, who’s distracted, who’s hurt, and who’s not planning on being here next year.
Swept

Which cubs? The July cubs?
The cubs might be a balm rather than a curse…
If the Brewers hitters would stop helping opposing pitchers by swinging at crap, we might see a turn for the better. It seems to be an epidemic, top to bottom.
