That shackleford guy had a good game
overall ERA of 9, but shut down the opposition with 6 Ks. 2 hits through 5 with no walks. That’s a pretty damned nice game.
There is no reason to do it
But I wish they would call up Brendan Katin in September and tell him to swing for the fences.
Maybe he should play first base instead. That is, he should lie out there and we can step on him when we get a hit.
