SBNation coverage
Well, this one went downhill in a hurry (or at least the win expectancy did.) Bush and Rodriguez weren't that much different in terms of giving up hits and both teams gave up errors that led to unearned runs but the definite difference between the teams could be seen in the 3rd inning. Bush, unlike Rodriguez, walked 3 batters including 1 in the 3rd. The other problem with the Brewers tonight was the persistent problem of George Kottaras and his ability to throw out baserunners on steals. Jeff Keppinger and Michael Bourn combined in a double steal. Bourn also stole another base tonight.
However, things went uphill for the Brewers in the 9th. Lindstrom walked Kottaras with one out and Joe Inglett's first home run of 2010 followed. Rickie Weeks singled, Corey Hart walked, and a Prince Fielder single took them both home. The Brewers are now two games ahead of the Astros in the Battle for Third Place.

Zach Grienke to the Brewers
MLB Network’s Baseball Tonight thinks its a good idea.
I like the idea too. Of course that would never happen.
Zack Greinke to anywhere is a good fit.

True
They didn’t think a big-market club would be a good fit.
Do the Royals need a young power-hitting 1st Baseman though? ;)
the royals already have billy butler. plus the brewers would have to give up a crapload to get greinke

Weeks singled, Hart walked.
But who cares. Exciting win, I’m glad I stuck around and watched the end of the game, and I’m glad Prince came through.
Best win of the season, tonight.
I care
I read it directly from the game log and still got it wrong, which is the clear indication I need to go to bed. Also that I probably should consider using a new web browser, ever since the new version of FF came out my computer’s been locking all over the place.
I hate to admit it,
but I almost turned the game off. I’m glad I didn’t.
My goodness.

The 9th
The 9th inning of this game might be my favorite of all I’ve seen in person this year. Man, that was fun.
As a bonus, the douchebag guys to our left and right all left before the 9th inning. They deserved to miss the ending.
Stop the madness! Stop the losing!
I am on a two game winning streak!!! 3-4 this year!!!
I gotta say this was the best finish to a game that I have been to since 2008 prolly.
Glad I always stick around for the whole game!!!
Wow that was crazy!!! I thought hart was out for sure… until I saw the replay that is… but the right decision to send him either way.

Well, this is nice to wake up to at 4 AM
Having gone to bed hearing Inglett was up in the 9th with a runner on 2nd.
Maybe he should play first base instead. That is, he should lie out there and we can step on him when we get a hit.
Also: Prince
what the hell were you doing standing on first base at the end of the game? There was only one out. If hart gets thrown out at the plate, that’s two out and you’re a) not in scoring position for Braun b) in easy force out position.
Chug your ass into second – they’re not going to get you and Hart on the same play. Half the team could have been on 3rd.
Good Point
How we would have been steaming had Hart been throw out at Home…..
"No player is greater than a team."
-Vince Lombardi
That was my favorite walkoff celebration of the year.
- Weeks hugging Hart while he’s the ground
- Inglett’s climbing all over Prince while he’s in ‘Prince SMASH’ mode
- Counsell’s celebratory shove of Fielder
- Hoffman’s awkward jumping around the walkoff pile
Just awesome.
