You're welcome, Reds.
A week after losing three straight to the Reds and helping them build an eight game lead in the Central, the Brewers took two of three from the Cardinals.
Tonight, it was Chris Capuano shutting down St. Louis, allowing a solo home run but little else over seven innings, needing just 83 pitches (a season high), striking out two and walking none, and picking up his third win of his bounce back season.
At the plate, Ryan Braun was the hero, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI. The HR gave him 20 on the season, making this just the fourth Brewer team in history with five players with 20.
With the win, the Brewers win the season series with the Cardinals 8-7. They've tied or won the season series against St. Louis each of the last three seasons.

I was at the game
First winner I’ve been to in the last 2 years. Lots of fun, though I was conflicted about booing Suppan. He sure did get booed, though.
Yes. This made me sad.
It’s one thing to boo if he were lazy or a criminal or a bum. Instead, he was just a good guy who was no good at pitching. The booing was out of line.

He was a pitcher who was no good at pitching
I would agree with you if he were still a Brewer, but now he’s a Cardinal, everything that could possibly unnerve him is fair game.

It's worse than that...
He’s a Cardinal still on our payroll.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
