Witrado gone from J-S

I got it from Miller Park Drunk on Twitter. He says Witrado is gone to the Sporting News (who just took over and dismantled FanHouse) and that Haudricourt confirmed the move on WSSP.

Had he written anything for the J-S lately?

It’s looked like a one-man show on the Brewers beat since the end of the season, but it could just be me not noticing.

He wrote something incomprehensible after the Badgers played Notre Dame in a preseason tournament.

But that’s the last I remember.

I’m not smart enough to look at the other stuff and do anything but drool and mumble.

Well that sucks.

Now what are we supposed to talk about?

The Brewers maybe?

Give him an offspeed pitch down and in. He will swing and miss.

I'll miss Witardo...

F*CK AND YES!!!

where’s Lavender with the proper goodbye note?!?

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

You would be amazed how much time UW-Parkside’s student paper can consume. Sadly, this should be the last Witrado-ism. Gladly, this should be the last Witrado-ism because he isn’t a Brewers writer anymore.

Gary Howard was just recently named the sports editor for Sporting News

so, thank you Gary

I met with Garry Howard at the Sentinel, and he was a real cool guy to me. I hope he does a great job with the Sporting News, but am quite doubtful for anything Witrado related…apart from this news of his leaving of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which is delightful.

How the hell is this not front paged yet???

All part of the plan

My theory is that Witrado was an alter ego created by Tom Haudricort to make us all think, “Well shit, I guess he’s not THAT bad”. The plan has succeeded, and so now the entity formerly known as Witrado has slowly been phased out.

One more parting shot.

Just because newspaper articles are supposed to be written at a 7th grade reading level doesn’t mean they should seem like they are written by a 7th grader.
