Appears the deal is pending physicals. The Cubs are sending a decent haul to Tampa, including highly touted prospect Chris Archer. NL Central pitching depth continues to soar. Though it may be a disadvantage to face Garza a couple times (we may have had to anyways since the Rays are on our interleague schedule), our main competition, the Reds and Cardinals will also have to face him now.  Win now move for the Cubs, or GM Hendry trying to save his job / fill the seats type of deal?
