Yovani Gallardo pitches against the Diamondbacks during Game One of the National League Division Series at Miller Park on October 1, 2011.
I'm not sure how many more ways I can say this, but Yovani Gallardo had an incredible performance today. As evidence of his greatness, I present an updated list of the best pitching performances in Brewer postseason history, sorted by WPA:
| Pitcher | Season | Series | Game | WPA |
| Yovani Gallardo | 2011 | NLDS | 1 | +.434 |
| Pete Ladd | 1982 | ALCS | 5 | +.270 |
| Mike Caldwell | 1982 | WS | 1 | +.261 |
| Don Sutton | 1982 | ALCS | 3 | +.259 |
| Bob McClure | 1982 | WS | 4 | +.242 |
Gallardo also tied Sutton's franchise record by striking out nine in a postseason game. It was his lowest strikeout total in his last four starts.
