WOW!!! Winning game 1 is so huge. I felt that everyone (NOT ME) was so secure that the Crew would win no problem since they had home field. Gallardo is a stud. Brewers have a great home record. BUT (huge BUT alert) Ian Kennady was on the mound. This guy has came out of nowhere to be a stud. 21-4. Have you comprehended what this guy has came out of nowhere and done? Even better WHiP after the AllStar break. As good as the Crew is and Yovani is I had a hard time believing they could beat a 21-4 guy.

BUT they came out and grinded away. Wow I can't be more impressed with their grit today. They found a way to score runs (early) without the HR. YO was an absolute stud!

Turning point of the series may be the first pitch strike Kennedy threw to Prince. That smile Prince had on his face after that first pitch said it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I'd say he's "come out of nowhere"

but I guess his performance was better than expected.

I was nervous that Kennedy would pitch a gem and we’d be down 1-0, with Greinke pitching on short rest. Now, the worst that could happen is Milwaukee heading to AZ tied at 1. I like our chances tomorrow.
