I need to get out of Chicago, and fast!
That’s a whole different matter, though.
It’s too bad the game is blacked out on mlb. So, I’ll get the car fixed and come back to Milwaukee and get out of this wretched sports-town and probably destination for Theo Epstein.
Go, Tigers, I hope!
FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.

So Jeff Suppan is throwing out the first pitch at Game 3
An inspired choice. The Cardinals have taken trolling to a new level.

A random 7 year old will be permitted to hit the ceremonial first pitch into Kansas.

Followed by Jim Edmonds in Game 4
Game 5 not announced yet… my money’s on Fernando Vina. (Maybe Ronnie Belliard)

S'okay
If the Royals can get it together in 2012 maybe one of the guys who was at Omaha this year will be throwing out the first real pitch in the ALCS Game 3 :)
…tbh, the Royals’ major problem this year was that their rotation was made up of Bruce Chen (decent) and 10 other guys who shouldn’t be allowed to start in MLB. And their bullpen was OK. I don’t get it.
I'm going back and forth between...
… consoling myself with the fact that: watching the Rangers destroy the Cardinals will be fun, and worrying about getting enough decent starts out of our rotation to beat the Rangers when we make the series.

Gallardo will give up 2 runs, KRod and Ax throw shut out innings
Brewers will small ball 2 runs in 8 innings off Carpenter and Braun drives home a single run against whatever the Cardinals put on the mound to “close.” They’ll be fine.

Sorry. Misunderstood your comment
That said, Cardinals suck. Brewers rule!

We certainly have a better bullpen
It’s hard to argue that the starters, when taking account for the last 3-4 weeks as arms wear down are going to be better or are better.
The only good pitcher we’ve had this postseason so far has gotten rocked by the Cards this year and is matched up against a guy who has been pitching extremely well.
Game 3 may very well decide the series.
And these people. They will help.

A buffalo eats all of Casey's matching pine tar bats . . .
But that would be okay. Because the Buffalo was listening to Long Way to the Top AC/DC.

Well damn.
That buffalo lives for another day. Can’t shoot it, because we can’t carry anymore food.
That dog just won't hunt.

You are correct.

Guess we will have to make room for that Cardinal Squirrel.

I think the squirrel will see us, and realize it has liked us the whole time.
And then she/he will hop over to our side and we will win us some games.
(Yeah!)

That would be much appreciated! I like squirrels.
This squirrel will be very likeable!

I don't want to tell you that you have to like squirrels, though.
So I’ll just stay strong. But this squirrel is probably a Brewer Squirrel…

Yeah
As long as Loe (especially Loe) and Estrada don’t have to pitch the rest of the postseason unless we’re leading by 10+ I think we’ll be more than fine.

I used to think so...
The way the staff has pitched in the postseason has been an embarrassment. No idea what the deal is.

I agree.
But the Card staff is not good. In the first 2 games their starters pitched 4 innings each. The Brewers staff has played poorly but even in their dilapidated state they still might be better than the Cardinals.

I remember this article, and maybe it would be helpful!
It’s from September, just after the trade.

I think my alternator is what isn’t working, and this car is probably done. (Arrghhhhh. Time for AAArggghhh).
Go Brewers!
