Prognostikeggers NLCS: Cardinals @ Brewers
(Check out the rules for Prognostikeggers here.)
The Brewers are back home to finish the NLCS, and they'll need to use the home field as much as possible to get to the World Series. Meanwhile, the rest of you get one or more chances to pad your scores for the NLCS.
After five games of action in the NLCS, guayzimi has taken a commanding lead entering the last two games. With a six-point advantage, it's just a matter of staying ahead of the players behind. Of course, with a little luck, GoldeFrank, Capt Science, or anyone else could catch up. It wouldn't be the strangest thing we've ever seen.
Good luck over the next few days. Make your picks with confidence, then watch and support the Brewers. Let's see a comeback that gets them to the World Series.

I think the Marcum pitch total is probably the toughest bonus question of the year (so far). There is no easy way to figure it out at all using game logs/splits if the game plan for Shaun has changed.
*But if things haven’t been changed too much beyond pitch selection and tempo, then it isn’t a tough question at all!
FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.

It definitely will be a tough one.
I gave it a second thought, though, and am going to expand the scoring on it a little (to the 10/7/3/0 tier I like to use).

Nice.
I’m still interested in predicting 2 different outcomes based on the way Marcum might be used tonight, just because I’m interested.

I just want to thank all the little people that made this victory possible...
specifically the Italian as well as Ryan Theriot for coming through with clutch errors. Please send my winnings to:
guay zimi
- Pleasant Vista Mobile Home Park
Festus, MO

Best wishes to all…
There are no winnings.
It’s all for pride, nothing else.

I should say bragging rights, not pride...
Though there is pride that goes along with it.

The wrapup post is scheduled for tomorrow
Unless Kyle decides to run it early.
