Brewers Outright Josh Wilson, Mark DiFelice to Nashville
As noted in this post, they needed to clear two spots on the 40 man roster to make room for Manny Parra and Mitch Stetter to come off the 60-day DL.
Both players will be eligible for minor league free agency.

WILSON!

Josh Wilson joined the Brewers in 2011
His main claim to fame is starting 2 games at shortstop immediately prior to Good Yuni showing up. As Roenicke had refused to play him regularly before that 2-game stretch, that was by far Wilson’s largest contribution to the Brewers.
I think that pretty much sums it up.
No way
My biggest memory was the HR he hit in FLA to win the game. Remember driving, listening to the game on the radio when he hit it, Provus couldn’t believe it.
Get a ife broseph
He hit a couple big homeruns soon after joining the team, didn't he?

Right
His only two HRs this season came in his first 5 games with the Brewers.
The first was in a loving effort against the Reds, and the second was the one Supertramp remembered.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
Loving effort? I don't recall that game.

Oh, one other memory
When McCalvy reported they got Josh Fields and everyone got excited for a brief moment before they were brought back down to earth.
Get a ife broseph
That's what I'll remember most
That was the beginning of the end for him.

I think that you mean "Not Awful Yuni" rather than "Good Yuni"
I hate Yuni.

I think he meant "good" in the relative sense
“Normal Yuni” < “Good Yuni” < “Average MLB hitter”

How about failure?
I blame the Seattle front office for ranking him as a SS of the future with only vague scouting reports as reference. They could have taken his AA and AAA numbers, along with the partial season numbers with the Mariners in ‘05. I don’t even know what they were, but I have reason to believe they were the same as they are, now.
He’s all defense, or all offense and etc…
There is no reason for the Brewers to punish themselves by putting him in a line-up when he should be a backup. And not for a contender. He must trick teams somehow into keeping him longer than a year.
Boo…
Not sure really what to say about Wilson. At least he didn’t trick us into believing that it was okay to be really bad and stay in a line-up.
FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.
