The Brewers didn't have many bright spots tonight, but here's one of them: Corey Hart's home run gave the Brewers one in each game in this series. Tonight's solo shot was the first postseason home run of his career, and he's now the tenth Brewer ever to go deep in a playoff game:
| Player | HR |
| Ted Simmons | 3 |
| Paul Molitor | 3 |
| Gorman Thomas | 2 |
| Ben Oglivie | 2 |
| Prince Fielder | 2 |
| Robin Yount | 1 |
| Cecil Cooper | 1 |
| Mark Brouhard | 1 |
| Ryan Braun | 1 |
| Corey Hart | 1 |
The Brewers have still never had a multi-homer game, three run homer or grand slam in the playoffs. Paul Goldschmidt's homer tonight was the Diamondbacks' first ever postseason grand slam.
