I'm going to miss him a little
I’m not too broken up about it, the Brewers will be fine, but I’ll admit that I will miss him a little. Plus, now the undying hatred that I have for the St. Louis Cardinals can grow a little more as I actually have a reason to hate the Cubs a little less.

I wonder if anyone will ask him what he was thinking when he started Suppon
back in 08 for game 3 against Philly
"It's a joke. It's all a joke.
I don't think anyone will
Why ask about Game 3 when he started in Game 4?

You'd still have pitched better than Suppan though...

I just hope Robin Yount doesn't become a bench coach for him

Actually, Tom Haudricourt just answered that on his Twitter stream.
Sveum said he won’t try to get #Brewers icon Robin Yount to join his staff. “It might not be in his best interests,” said Sveum, smartly.

Sveum: “It wasn’t like the #Brewers and Cubs didn’t get along. It was the Cardinals we didn’t get along with.”

Mike Maddux was a finalist for that job
And he’s probably due a managerial spot himself somewhere, but what are the odds Sveum can get Maddux to join him in Chicago?
None
Maddux took himself out of manager consideration in Boston and Chicago due to “family concerns,” so can’t see him leaving Texas, at least this year.
Get a ife broseph
I think that's a bit extreme.
I can’t blame Sveum for going for a better job, even if it is with the Cubs. Opportunities to manage are few, and if you’ve got a shot, you have to take it.

Yeah, nowhere near the same thing.
Favre went out and purposely tried to screw over the Packers. I’m sure Sveum harbors no dislike of the Brewers, nor they of him. He wasn’t even considered for the Brewers manager spot when RRR got it (if I remember correctly), but this season he was up for the manager of two of the biggest market teams out there. Absolutely cannot blame him for taking a step up (which sounds weird when you’re moving from the Brewers to the Cubs).

Ohh I have no ill will
It was more tongue and cheek. He’s saying the right things, but I think it’s all talk.
