PrintTonight the center of the baseball universe is in Seacaucus, New Jersey, where the winners of baseball's 2011 Silver Slugger Awards will be announced at 5 pm.
If Ryan Braun wins the award tonight he'll be the first Brewer ever to have won four times, just the 15th player in major league history to have done it four times as an outfielder, and he'll have done it in four consecutive years. If Prince Fielder wins at first base it will be his second such award, moving him into a tie for eleventh on the all time list at that position.
