Twins Choose Cory Provus as New Lead Radio Broadcaster

The Brewers will have to find a replacement for Provus, now.

a bit sad to see Cory go

I was not a fan of his when he first started but he really grew into his role well and especially this season I really enjoyed listening to someone. They’d better find someone good to replace him. And Davey Nelson can never be in the radio booth again.

Sad to see him go. He was really starting to find his groove this year, I thought. I really thought we had a good one for that inevitable day when the unspeakable happens. Oh well. Curious to see who they’ll find next.

Radio is how I follow 130 games a year or so, and Provus was really easy to listen to. Crap.

Good for him but sucks for us

I follow the Brewers by listening to the games on MLB At-Bat and have really enjoyed listening to him the last couple years. He has a great sense of timing, not just in his banter with Uek but also in the way he didn’t talk too much and often let the listener enjoy the the sounds of the crowd, esp. when the Brewers clinched the division and won the NLDS.

Here’s hoping the Crew finds another good one.

I will always remember after leaving the ball park hearing how he called that 14th inning walk off against the Rockies... THAT WAS CLASSIC!!! GREAT CALL... he lost it hahaha...
