I wonder if the results for the Gonzalez question would change

if the terms of his contract were known before the poll went out.

There might need to be another tracking poll next week.

Just to ask some of the following questions:

- Now that the terms of Gonzalez’s contract are out, do you agree with the decision to sign him?
- Do you agree with the decision to sign Aramis Ramirez?
- Do you agree with the decision to trade Casey McGehee?
- Do you agree with the decision to acquire Jose Veras?
- The Diamondbacks signed Takashi Saito for 1 year at $1.75 million. How should the Brewers have handled this situation?
- How do you feel about the media coverage of the ongoing process with Ryan Braun?

I keep a notepad file open on my computer most of the time, and one of the things I always have on it is a list of pending tracking poll questions.

During the offseason if I don’t have enough, I skip a week.

I’ve already got most of a poll for next week.

Now that's great tasting chicken!

That's smart

That’s why you get paid the big bucks to do this.

What's a low-A rooster filler?

Is that something that fast food restaurants put into their poultry to stretch it out?

I'd be interested to see how many people think the team should have signed Saito to a contract worth more money or years than the D'Backs.

Punto just signed with the Red Sox for $3M with incentives

So I guess I’m not too broken about Gonzalez getting more than that. Ya, we can all wish it was less but if that’s the market I’d rather they over pay for Gonzalez than pay whatever Betancourt’s market value is.

I think just the opposite

The fact that two independant sources confirmed a positive, it does not look good at all for him.

May not have been intentional, or not even a PED, but he has a monster hill to climb to get out of it.

Looks like he is going to put up a OJ defense and team to beat this, problem is he wont have an OJ jury debating the merits.

by backtocali on Dec 14, 2011 3:46 PM CST up reply actions

The only independent source is the WADA

and they ban people for taking anti-balding medications that don’t even mask PED use.

Here's a bargaining question

Would Braun be more upset with a positive PED test, or people knowing he took an anti balding agent?

by backtocali on Dec 14, 2011 4:05 PM CST up reply actions

Or an anti-herpes medication
