So - what would you say if I told you our Head of Scouting Operations in Japan goes by the name of . . .

小さく勤勉な犬 !!! Her name is 小さく勤勉な犬 !!!

As soon as I attain the 75 word requirement, I will post these illustrations. These are my own illustrations, because I am tired of trying to read the things I write. Eighty-three words!

And it looks like Doug and Gord sent 小さく勤勉な犬 to the wrong region! (I learned a lot about Chiba Prefecture, after drawing out the wrong map)

p.s. feel free to ask questions about these pictures, and, in turn, I will try and find an explanation as to how 小さく勤勉な犬 eventually found Aoki.

I would imagine she took the 'shinkansen' 超特急 - or SuperExpress... the bullet train. Anyhow, I hope this information on our newest scout over in Japan will help us over here at Brew Crew Ball. Enjoy your tall non-frosty glass of Sapporo!

I wonder what this means for the Milwaukee Brewers, too.

I’m surprised he left that out in the open, this time. Normally, he keeps a large Brewers wall calender over it to cover it up!

FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.

I understand. I think I would have actually had problems once it got to the last part with the map...

I could just say “oh, I was being silly…” but I think maybe I was lazy and impatient. It took me so long to draw the map and I figured the Chiba Lotte Marines Stadium thing could be covered up with something like ‘the dog took a high-speed bullet train to Tokyo and found Aoki and everything was good.’
