My Brewers Wishlist
1. Aramis Ramirez - Ramirez gives us a proven run producer in the majors. He would be extremely useful in the Brewers lineup especially with the probable loss of Fielder.
2. Jason Bartlett - Rather than overpay for injury prone free agents like Rollins and Furcal, Jason Bartlett is a solid defender with good plate discipline and pretty good speed.
3. Casey Blake - He gives versatility and is a solid hitter for the bench. He could play first and third as well as the outfield.
4. Nick Punto - He is a solid defender all over the infield and can put together good at-bats. He seems like the best free agent utility man with the loss of Hairston to the Dodgers.
5. Joel Zumaya - He has a hundred mph fastball and has the ability to dominate when healthy. I think he could be a good under the radar signing coming off an injury.
With these additions and a re-signing of Saito or Hawkins, the Brewers look to be in good condition heading into 2012.

Casey Blake
We already have a guy with a similar skill set on the roster = Casey McGehee

Casey Blake is about five hundred times better than Casey McGehee.
Though they do have the same first name.

Who would the Brewers give up to get him?
And why would they want him?
He’s worst than Gonzalez offensively and defensively…. oh and he’s getting $5.5M next season with an option for 2013.
Plus, Bartlett isn’t a solid defender… he has been below-average defensively the last three seasons.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
last year
Last year, Bartlett had a -.9 UZR and Gonzalez was -.3 and Bartlett is better then Gonzalez offensively aside from power. He has a better OBP and better SB numbers which could take Hart out of the leadoff spot to lower in the order where his home runs would be more valuble. With Braun and Weeks driving everyone in we don’t need that much power out of the lead off spot
