Casey McGehee Trade?
Think the Dodgers would go for McGehee for Ivan DeJesus and Ramon Troncoso?
Ivan DeJesus - I heard he has a good glove and can play 2B and SS with a decent bat but without plate discipline. If anything he can be a good backup guy. Between Hairston, Kennedy, Uribe and Gordan, DeJesus is kind of an extra as well.
Ramon Troncoso - He was succesful a few years ago in various bullpen roles and I believe he was injured last year. The Dodgers have a bunch of bullpen depth so he could be available.

I believe De Jesus is now pretty much limited to 2B
I seem to recall he blew out a knee (?) a few years back in the minors and was moved thereafter.
You forgot a space in your title.

Do the Dodgers really need a 3B?
If the Brewers sign Ramirez or another 3B and want to trade McGehee, I do think they could get something back from a probably-not-contending team that could let him figure things out next year, which would be cool for both the Brewers and McGehee.
If Plush had to pick Wearwolf or Vampire, I'm a Wearwolf!
I think we could probably trade McGehee for a backup infielder if we wanted
But why not just play Green full time at 3B and keep McGehee and Farris around as backup IFs?
Right
There’s no need to trade to get a backup infielder. The Brewers have a couple in the minors they could use (Farris and Maysonet) or they could just sign someone reasonably cheap off the FA market.
Granted, trading McGehee would probably free up a little payroll, but then again, so would just non-tendering him.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
Maysonet should not be on a major league roster.

I know that errors are not a good way to judge fielders but
Farris manage to have 8 errors in 25 games at SS last year and has only played 35 games there in total in the minor leagues. I think that the Brewers may still be looking around for a cheap IF who is a bit more proficient at SS to complete the roster.
If the Brewers sign Ramirez then, since they already have Green to back-up 3rd, I think that McGehee will be traded or released.
You're right about there being cheap FAs still available to fill a bench IF spot
Some possibilities… Adam Everett, Cesar Izturis, John McDonald, Nick Punto, Ramon Santiago and Omar Vizquel.
Heck, even Bill Hall could be an option.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
Santiago re-signed with the Tigers
and Vizquel is like 50 and the others besides maybe Punto have no value offensively
McDonald is also signed with the D'Backs
I’m not sure that the back-up SS has to have any hitting value I mean Counsell filled that role the last few years. It is more having somebody that can field the position well.
I think that Punto would be looking for a situation with more playing time that what the Brewers are likely to offer unless they decide to go with the McGehee/Green combo at 3B in which case there is a chance that Punto could end up playing there.
If they decide on the cheap IF route then Izturis,Cora,Vizquel are all possible but I think that there must be somebody on a AAA team somewhere that might be little bit better but would play for the minimum amount
First Base
If anything we should keep McGehee as a backup 1B/3B in case Gamel or Taylor Green bomb. If we don’t have McGehee, who is next on the organizational depth chart?
And the Dodgers just signed a bunch of 1-2 WAR infielders that can play 3B (Jerry Hairston Jr, Mark Ellis, Adam Kennedy) to go with the guys they already have, so why would they want Casey?
I have a hard time believing any team would offer anything of value for McGehee
Particularly if they think the Brewers might just non-tender him.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
First of all
I think they should sign Casey Blake who is more of a sure thing than McGehee. Second Ellis is a 2B and McGehee could also back up first where Loney can’t hit lefties and McGehee is potentially a better hittter than Hairston or Kennedy depending on whether he bounces back
Yep
Because the Rangers are interested in someone from Tampa, which then they would likely send their 1B, Moreland, to the Rays. Link here.

McGehee is a good guy.
Treat him right, and he’ll try his ass off for you guys. Don’t treat him right, and he’ll try his ass off for you guys anyways, which will make you love him more. I’m sorry to see him go, even if he did have a rough year.
