The Brewers won, which is nice.  Ryan Braun strained his left intercostal muscle, which is bad.  Right now, Braun is listed as day to day, though as tcyoung and pagsbrewcrew pointed out in the gamethread he has had issues with the muscle group before, straining his right intercostal in both 2008 and 2009.

Other notes from the game:

• Shaun Marcum struggled, giving up eight hims and 4 runs in 3.2 innings.  
• Axford, Loe, James, Dillard and McClendon all pitched an inning, with only the first and last giving up a hit (McClendon gave up two).
  
• Prince Fielder (2-2), Yuniesky Betancourt (2-3), George Kottaras (2-3) and Casey McGehee (two run homer) were the offensive stars for Milwaukee.
• Mark Kotsay had an outfield assist.  I sure hope that doesn't help him make the team.
