BCB Tracking Poll Shows Record High Approval For Doug Melvin

This week's poll was open from Monday at noon until Tuesday afternoon, and received 230 responses. Here are some of the notable results:

• Nearly all participants are on board with Doug Melvin and his major offseason moves. Melvin's approval rating is at a record-high 91%, the Zack Greinke trade was approved by 92% of voters and 99% approved of the Marcum deal.
• Ron Roenicke opens the 2011 season with an 81% approval rating, and just one voter disapproving.
• 96% of voters think the Brewers can make the playoffs with their current personnel.
• Recent moves have been somewhat less popular. Only 64% of voters approve of the decision to trade for Nyjer Morgan, and even fewer (42%) approve of the decision to acquire Sergio Mitre. With that said, approving voters had at least a plurality in both cases.
