Best Spot to watch opening day in Milwaukee?
I just moved back to Wisconsin after a 10 year absence and was looking for a spot to watch opening day in Milwaukee? I prefer something with a decent beer selection and don't really want the headache of the Friday's at Miller Park. Any recommendations?

Axel's on Oakland
great Brewer fan base there for every game, AND they usually don’t mid you bringing in food from Oakland Gyros next door
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

that's an option...
I’ve heard great things about Oakland Gyros so that is absolutely an option for me.
However, anything further west? I live in Pewaukee…
kidding, of course.
I really don’t know of many places with good beer selections that are out of the milwaukee county limits.
If you’re looking for a good beer selection, go to almost any bar in Bayview.

Yeah.
I was thinking about Sugar Maple or even Bomb Shelter. I’m just afraid that when I walk in with my Brewers windbreaker, Jersey, BP Cap, Brewers undershirt, and start showing off my classic ball and glove tatoo, people are going to stare at me as if I had 3 heads.
Maybe one at the bar area but I don't think so
I was disappointed with the lack of hookers but the pancakes were delightful
I live in Pewaukee too
There’s a BWW right on Capitol if you’re into that.

Other options
Delafield Brewhaus makes their own beer and IIRC, has TVs in their bar area.

Also in pewaukee.
There’s a few decent places on the lake (Curly’s is my favorite), or Boomers, if you’re into crappy. Champps out in Brookfield is always a solid choice. If I’m going to work monday, definitely not a given, i’ll be at the hooters on Bluemound for the game.

You work at Hooters?

I'll be at one of the bars near the Stadium, on Bluemound
Steve’s on Bluemound is where we’re leaning toward. We were there two years ago for the game on Home Opener and it was a lot of fun. And this year we don’t have to worry about smoking inside….yay!
