Brewers 2, Angels 1
Win: Takashi Saito
Loss: Kevin Jepsen
HR: Fielder (1)
In an incredible pitching duel, Shaun Marcum, Takashi Saito, and a bunch of prospects combined to three-hit the LA Angels, who only gave up six hits themselves.
- Marcum, in his second start of spring, threw three innings and gave up two of the three Angels hits along with striking out three batters.
- Cody Scarpetta gave up the only run by a Brewers pitcher today
- Jeremy Reed went 2-3 as he tries to make the big league roster out of spring training
- Prince Fielder hit his first HR of the season, a two run shot that accounted for the Brewers only runs of the day.

I'm trying to figure out how this works...
So today’s win means that we will win the World Series, but that we need to be concerned about the offense. Am I right? Is that the proper over-reaction?
Applying Simpsons and Star Wars quotes to Brewers discussions since 2009.
