Brewers get back to .500 after a 5-2 homestand and 2 out of 3 over the Cubs

Brewers rebound after tough opening day loss and 0-4 start

The Brewers looked good this homestand getting back to .500 at 5-5 after taking two of three from the Cubs. It could have been a sweep if Cubs reliever Carlos Marmol hadn't gotten out of a one out two on jam in the bottom of the ninth Friday. Still Gallardo and Narveson had big wins over the weekend and Fielder, Braun and McGehee went deep with homers yesterday. Go Brewers and always good to beat the rival Cubs.
