MLBTR listed Barmes as a possibility for a trade candidate if the Astros are sellers (pretty much a certainty). He's 32 and will be a FA after the season, but has always been a decent SS and can play 2B as well. I would think that if he's healthy (currently on DL) he wouldn't require much in terms of prospect talent and would only earn 1.3M in the final 100games of 2011 (a lot less than Jose Reyes in both areas)...I'm still stuck on what they'd do with Yuni though. He's a bad fielder, but if he had better fielders surrounding him, maybe a team would be willing to take him on (though probably not his salary), and as bad of a fielder as he is, I don't think he's bad enough to just release and get no compensation for. Maybe a low prospect, Yuni, and cash for Barmes? Just throwing out anything at this point that could be an upgrade...
