Stat Of The Night: Road Woes

Stay connected for news and updates

The Brewers leave Los Angeles tonight having been outscored 4-2 in this two game series, and having been shut out for the fourth time this season. All four shutouts and four of the six games where the Brewers have been held to one run have occurred on the road.

The Brewers entered tonight's game as a .220/.277/.338 hitting team on the road and didn't do much to change those numbers, as they were able to muster just one extra base hit (Randy Wolf's double) against Hiroki Kuroda. Through 23 games this season they're averaging just 2.87 runs per game on the road, compared to 5.53 at home.

But, alas, tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to turn things around.
