Brewers claim Danny Ray Herrera off waivers from Reds, assign him to Nashville

With no lefties on the roster, it's somewhat surprising to see Herrera not added to the big league club.
The Brewers cleared a spot on the 40 man roster by moving Manny Parra to the 60-day DL.

It sounds like they are going to evaluate him at Nashville first, and if he looks good enough to help the team, bring him up to the majors.
