I will admit way back in the late 80's and early 90's I supported both teams.

They were in different leagues and back than you were lucky if the Crew was on TV 15 times a year while the Cubs were on all summer on WGN and every game was on.  The other choice was watch the Braves and I was not going to do that.  So I spent my high school summers watching WGN (great day when we finally got cable at my parents house) I rooted for Robin on one team and Ryan on the other I learned to handle getting close but not quite there with both team ;)

The White Sox were the hated Chicago team for me not the Cubs I used to do home made doubleheaders you would catch a day game at Wrigley and than haul ass back up to the Old Grey Lady to catch the Brewers under the lights.

Good times man good times

Than the Brewers switched leagues and I was forced to make a choice and I choose my first baseball love the Brewers.  And than you step back and start to notice how annoying Cubs fans were and are and how pompous they are for a team that never wins anything and it is like being rescued from a cult you look back at that part of your life and you have to ask yourself" I was like those people once" lol 

So anyone else out there like me a person who grew up rooting for both teams but now cannot stand the Cubs?
