Need Help with Bet Against Friend
Would love anyone's suggestions on where to find this info:
At the beginning of the year, I made two bets with my friend. Both of them were betting for our respective man crushes. Being early to the bandwagon (having seen his pre-2010 #s) I made the fairly bold prediction that Tony Plush would both end the year with a higher BA than Corey Hart AND start more games in the 2 hole than Hart would.
Now obviously the BA part of the bet would appear to be mine with no massive swings coming, but the other bet is where my question is. My friend for at least the past few weeks has still contended that because of Plush's time out of the lineup due to injury, Corey still has started more games in the two hole. (Every time I the response "it's close, but Hart is still the leader"). I am all but certain that he is full of shit.
Trying to put his BS finally to rest, do any of you know of a source that would show games played in a certain position of the lineup?
I am fairly knowledgeable about stats for baseball but know there are many fans that out rank me. On the off chance that this source of information does not exist (which given all of the stats in baseball I kindof doubt), I'll add a poll for good measure as well.
Thanks a ton for the help and THROW THE T!

I don't support betting, but in terms of finding the info you're looking for, I'll help you with that.
Between Baseball-Reference.com and FanGraphs.com, you can find any baseball stat you would ever need.
For this, look at the 2011 Gamelogs for Morgan and Hart. Here are links to both.
In each, there is a column listed as “BOP”. This would be the position in the batting order that they take. You can sort by that by clicking on the column, and it will sort by the position in the lineup they play each day. Compare that column to the Inngs to find which games they started (you’re looking for games with a GS-# or CG in them).
Quick look right now shows Morgan starting 20 games in the 2 hole, and Hart starting 19 games.

You can also see the Brewers team batting orders, including the most common order and the most common players at each spot. For the #2 spot it’s: Gomez 31, Morgan 20, Hart 19
