Cody Scarpetta

I don't know if there is any truth to this but I'm friends and went to high school with one of Cody's cousins and he told me that cody was called up to the Brewers after last nights game. Not sure why he would just tell me this but I wasn't sure, and I'm also not sure since I haven't seen anything on twitter or here so I was just wondering if anyone else has heard this.

Usually it's the other way around

I’m not sure why they would go to Scarpetta if looking for another arm though. Maybe he meant promoted to AAA? (though that also seems unlikely, since Scarpetta clearly still has things to work on in AA)

I wouldn’t have pegged John Axford as the heir apparent to the closer position last year, but the organization had always really liked him and obviously they were right.
