If anyone knows how to hit Josh Collmenter, could you please call Arizona and inform the Brewers?

For the second time this season, a guy with a sub-90 fastball and one other pitch (a changeup) completely dominated the Brewers tonight. The Brewers managed just three hits against him over eight innings, and struck out seven times.

Meanwhile, if the outfield fences in Arizona were about five feet closer Randy Wolf might have given up eight runs tonight. He was in trouble all night but was able to work out of it with a couple of double plays and a series of warning track fly balls. All told, he allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits over seven innings, walking one and striking out two. He also committed both Brewer errors in the game.

Ryan Braun was unable to start tonight, so Mark Kotsay took his place in left and (somewhat inexplicably) batted third. He went 0-for-3 with two groundouts to the pitcher.
