A player to be named Later
I don't know how many of you have instant streaming on Netflix but if you do check out a documentary called A Player to be Named Later.
The documentary covers the then Brewers AAA affiliate the Indianapolis Indians. A really interesting look at what it's like to be in the minor leagues and what a lot of the journeymen type players go through.
Another thing, I really wish the organization still had Marco Scutaro. He'd be a nice option at SS, a better Bat and much better fielder than Yuni... sigh...

Thanks, I’ll definitely check that out.
Has anyone done a reality show on a minor league team? It seems like minor league players would be more accessible and have more compelling stories than MLBers.
Of course, I haven’t seen “The Franchise” though….
I really think a low A ball team would be the most compelling type of team to follow.
AAA pay while low is at least something you could survive on, many of the lower leagues pay far less. Also I have to imagine the facilities at the lower levels are far worse compared with a AAA club in a big city.

If you want that
you might as well follow guys playing in the independent leagues.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
I caught part of this movie a while back
It was very interesting to see what it’s like for four minor league players hoping to make it to the Bigs. I forgot that Scutaro was in it.
Definitely worth watching.

I caught it a couple weeks ago
and yeah, it’s good. Check it out.
