Taking him and Hardy off of the board really thins out the market for shortstops in my opinion. Considering what the Giants got him for, I really hope that Doug made a call (or a few calls) on Keppinger, but Houston decided not to trade him within the division. Other shortstops potentially available: Scutaro (BOS), Furcal (LAD), Carroll (LAD), Bartlett (SD), Ryan (SEA), Wilson (SEA). Other slim shots might include Maicer Izturis from LAA if they upgrade at 3rd, or Jerry Hairston Jr. from WAS.
