Win Expectancy Graph and Star of the Game Voting

Perhaps, finally, Shaun Marcum is back to 100%.

On a night where the wind was blowing out at AT&T Park Marcum allowed just two runs on four hits over seven innings, walking none and striking out five. It was his longest outing since June 12 and his first walkless outing since June 1. He appeared to wear down a little bit during the sixth inning, but recorded six consecutive fly ball outs to keep the Giants at bay.

Meanwhile, and brace yourself for this because it isn't something we say often, Yuniesky Betancourt powered the Brewer offense tonight. He and Jonathan Lucroy were the only Brewers with two hits, and each of them collected a pair of RBI.

Nyjer Morgan made several plays in center field tonight but went 0-for-4 at the plate, ending his career-high hitting streak at eleven games.

Tonight's win was the first time the Brewers have won the first game of a road series since facing the Marlins in early June. They swept that series.
