Greinke's xFIP differential

3

RotoGraphs article addressing the unluckiest pitchers of 2011 based on the differential between xFIP and their ERA. Fausto Carmona is listed as #1 with a 1.79 difference, I thought it was worth noting that after last nights game I for kicks calculated Zack Greinke's xFIP differential as 3.54 (5.69-2.15) almost double Carmona's. Greinke is not listed in this article because he hasn't met the minimum innings requirement yet this season, but what are the odds we're watching one of the unluckiest seasons a MLB pitcher has ever had? His xFIP is nearly a run better this year than in his Cy Young season, yet his ERA is over 3 runs higher.
