Betancourt, Fielder, Greinke, Hart, or Wolf: Who Will Be Brewer Of The Week?
There's plenty of credit to spread around following a 5-1 road trip. Here are your BotW nominees:
Yuniesky Betancourt had three games this week with three hits or more, and had at least one RBI in five of this week's six games. He hit .462/.444/.538 this week.
Prince Fielder had hits in all six games this week, including two three hit games, and has reached base safely in 16 straight games. He hit .435/.500/.826 this week with five extra base hits and drove in nine runs.
Zack Greinke held the Astros to one run on just four hits over seven innings on Sunday, walking three and striking out six. He's pitched six straight quality starts.
Corey Hart had a hit in each of his five games this week, extending his hitting streak to eleven games. Two of those hits were home runs. He also drew four walks, leading to a .263/.417/.579 line this week.
Randy Wolf held the Cardinals to a run on five hits over eight innings Wednesday, walking none and striking out one. He's pitched at least six innings in 12 consecutive starts.

Can't do it.
On principle alone, I can’t vote for a player whose OBP is nearly 20 points lower than his batting average.
Fielder was better this week anyway.
Now that's great tasting chicken!

I voted for Yuni merely because it's the only week he will have a CHANCE at this...
