It's nice to see such a positive article about Milwaukee and its sports teams/fans, especially in light of LaRussa's recent comments and antics.

I’m surprised he didn’t mention the Cheesehead thing as an example of Wisconsin embracing an insult.

Rushin's lost a few miles per hour off his fastball since the late '90s
But he’s always struck me as a mensch. Good piece.
Rushin is a Marquette grad
And all he could come up were pithy generalities and cliches. He’s done better.
