Today is the day that Mets have to pick two minor-leaguers off 5-player list to complete trade with #Brewers for K-Rod.
Tom Haudricourt, on Twitter.
I think it still makes sense for one of the five players on the list to be Mike McClendon, but I have no idea who the others are.

If Gamel hasn't been called up I'd have to assume he's on the list
Why else would we keep that bat in Nashville after 9/1?
Agree but didn't Melvin say "no top prospects"
Even though he’s 25 he’s next year’s 1B. I don’t see moving McGehee and starting Green.
I do.
Yuni is in an 0-for-most-of-August slump and Casey had a 3 HR game recently, and Casey’s OPS is still 20 pts. lower than Yuni.
I meant I didn't see Doug and Ron moving Casey to 1b and handing 3B to Green.
…I could see Green winning the 3b job though
They need him to field a team in Nashville?

Take your list of 11 thru 30 ranked prospects
Figure it’s not anyone on the Sep 1 call up list or the AFL.
McClendon, Rivas, Khris Davis?
was told this today:
1. Green not on the list
2. Gamel not on the list
3. Rivas not on the list
4. Adrian Rosario on the list
5. Khris Davis on the list
6. Dan Merklinger very well may be on the list
7. Michael Fiers very well may be on the list
8. Last guy TBD, but was told it “might be the best guy of the five.”
also, no McClendon
we’ll see how this pans out. i have one Brewers guy who occasionally tells me stuff.
If Fiers really is on that list
I crap my pants in anger.

Who told you this? The leprechaun in my sandbox tells me to burn things, but I typically just tune him out.
Well, my guy was right about Rosario
But I have doubts that Merklinger and Fiers were on it, if the Mets took DRH instead
