Now that September 1st rosters have been finalized, we know the Brewers will be carrying 12 pitchers and 13 position players into the postseason. The Brewers can replace one position play on the roster with Rick Weeks, but the pitchers are set. It will be interesting to see which two position players are dropped for Weeks and Gomez and we probably won't know that until October 1.
Making the assumption that the Brewers do not have an historic collapse, I was wondering what everyone's dream postseason roster would be. It can be anyone in the organization that's healthy and you can change the roster distribtion to 11 pitchers and 14 position players.
For comparison, in the NL, the Phillies, Giants and Braves are running 11 pitchers while the Diamondbacks have 12 pitchers; in the AL, the Yankees are running 12 pitchers and the Red Sox and Rangers are using 13 pitchers, the Tigers are running 14 pitchers.
