The Brewers had as many batters hit home runs as the Cardinals had today but the Cards did a lot more with their homers. Pujols's second HR was the big one, a grand slam off Yovani Gallardo in the 3rd inning. Gallardo had an offensive contribution of his own, scoring a run on Corey Hart's homer in the bottom of the 3rd, but it didn't outweigh the four home runs he gave up. After Gallardo was pulled with 2 outs in the 5th, Kameron Loe, Takashi Saito and Frankie de la Cruz combined to one-hit the Cards.
