Introducing The Yuni Files: Prologue
Today we launch one of the more fascinatingly unique projects in Brew Crew Ball history: The Yuni Files. A few days ago I got an email from nullacct, our resident photoshop wizard. Below you can see the prologue for his new graphic novel, following the exploits of "Agent K" and perhaps finally providing an explanation for the organization's insistence on continuing to play Yuniesky Betancourt.
Check back next Thursday for Chapter One!

Great sig.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

I love the willy wonka chick.
You lose, you get nothing! Good DAY sir!
How about Tuesday?
I’m not sure I can wait a whole week! Please?

FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.

I can't explain why
But this image is awesome.

Thank you!
Unfortunately, Rickie might be more of a candidate for a bobble glove. Yuni sort of looks like a wobbling bowling pin, I guess. But Bobble-Glove Day would be a fun promotion!

"It's a long story... that starts in a den of evil..."
Cool, well at least we all know the next chapter will be set in Busch Stadium…

The NBA stole my wife
Even without those words
The picture makes that pretty obvious.
Pujols is the Barack Obama of baseball.
What?
You expect me to look at the pictures as well as read the words?

It's a well known fact that the Irish are photo-illiterate.
They are incapable of seeing pictures. Their world is words and only words.

I thought MrLearn was Scottish

That's what I get for posting that late at night.
Maybe the Scottish can eventually be taught to see photos, which makes them superior to the Irish?

It seems like you may have posted this in the wrong thread...

wrong

I think I've figured out who Kotsay reminds me of...
Well, not a specific person, really. But I could see him as the head of a medical staff. Or maybe a psychiatrist. I don’t know… just some medical guy. After one of the walk-offs earlier this season, he looked like someone who was off to a board meeting at a hospital during the interview.
Now he’s medical guy with Special Projects expertise!

Kotsay would be in these kinds of pictures...

Top pic, left to right:
Bob Kelso, Eliot Reid, John Dorian, Carla Espinoza, Christopher Turk. All we need is a Dr. Cox.
I miss Scrubs.

I must admit I had no idea this was from Scrubs
I just needed one of those deep-focus lens pictures! Hopefully the Scrubs people won’t mind.

It's not actually from Scrubs.
But I believe he is pointing out the “Racial and Gender Diversity” as being nearly identical to Scrubs.
