We have one decent replacement (Hairston), but two holes to fill.

I finally gave RRR my approval
Yes, he’s stuck with Yuni and Casey, but he’s also put Corey at leadoff and Rickie 5th, which worked like gangbusters. He’s put Braun and Fielder in positions to be MVP Candidates. His aggressive baserunning style has led to half a win in improvement.
This team’s fortunes have not dramatically increased because of him (It’s because of DM’s pitching moves), but he’s been good enough to do what his 9 predecessors haven’t, and that is put a division championship banner on the wall.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

Giving Roenicke credit
because Melvin put together an idiot-proof pitching staff is like giving someone credit for not overdosing on aspirin because the manufacturer put a child-proof cap on the bottle.

Yes
But, somehow, we’re in the wrong for not giving him that credit. I still can’t figure it out.

For the record
I voted Green for 3B, but I believe that Hairston should play at SS.

I would've voted that way too
if Green had been getting more playing time at 3B and Hairston at SS.
