Do you remember Uecker's call during the last K to Alvarez?
I don’t exactly remember, but I totally got chills when he said something about ‘knowing what’s going to happen’? Or something like that… or ‘you (the fans) can imagine what happens, here’
It sometimes seems like he really knows when we’re going to win, and I always trust him!
(Dodger game I went to with the brilliant performance by Greinke. My family left early to dodge the traffic, and Ueck’ said something like "(whoever the player was) took 2nd, and that’s defensive indiffernce, which means ‘who really cares?’)
It was hilarious : )
Ax is just awesome, and he showed the Brewers that he hadn’t forgotten how to throw that breaking stuff!
FanGraphs should consider a venue for a Gallery Night... they could even serve a cake with a Win Expectancy Chart of the 7/7/11 Brewers' game etched in the frosting, and 7-up. Oh, yeah - and t-shirts that say "SABR-Friday." I'm totally there.
