Today In Brewer History: Prince Fielder And Company Bowl Over The Giants

It's been two years as of today, but some of the highlights from the game between the Brewers and Giants on this day in 2009 are still replayed time and again.

First, with the Brewers trailing 1-0 in the sixth, Casey McGehee started an around-the-horn triple play:

After the Brewers tied the game and sent it to extra innings, Jason Kendall extended the game in the tenth with this incredible catch:

And, of course, no highlight package would be complete without this Prince Fielder walkoff celebration after his homer gave the Brewers a 2-1 victory:

A pretty large collection of people with sticks lodged in unfortunate places still hate the Brewers for that moment. Some people have nothing better to do than hold a grudge.

The walkoff victory overshadowed a solid day for Braden Looper (allowed one run on eight hits over seven innings) and an even better day for the Brewer bullpen, who combined to pitch five shutout innings in relief.
