Brewers and Nyjer Morgan have agreed to a 1-year, $2.35 million deal, avoiding arbitration.
"That leaves four #Brewers eligible for arby: K-Rod, Marcum, Veras and Loe."
EDIT: Post edited to change link to McCalvy's blog post, which had the dollar amount.

I have editted
The Post. Payroll at approximately $97.49M. I was under on this one by $350k ($2M), MLBTR missed by $450k ($1.9M)

New TV Deals
Are making it that way.

There's no way that this can be proven

I would guess they ddn't intend to spend this much.
I would also guess we don’t see a spike next year if the new TV deal kicks in and could possibly see a payroll dip due to going over this year.
Give him an offspeed pitch down and in. He will swing and miss.
Yeah I agree
I just think that its fair to point out that the whole “New TV Deals are making it that way” line of thought implies that there’s this higher stream of revenue that is going right into player salaries. Not only is there no way anyone outside of the organisation can prove that statement, it seems a little ridiculous to even try and make that guess. If the implication is that payroll is going to automagically be around $100M because there is a new, ultra-lucrative television deal, I think a lot of people putting eggs into that basket are going to end up as sad pandas.

The other question is if all the money going back into player salaries would be
the best use of the money.
Give him an offspeed pitch down and in. He will swing and miss.
Yes exactly
ballpark renovations/improvements, salaries for additional/better/etc scouts or scouting programs, etc etc

I wouldn't blame Mark A. for doing that, either

He already sewed Brewers uniforms over his pockets though.
Applying pop culture to Brewers discussions since 2009, earning the nickname of "Our Little Abed".
