Yesterday was the kickoff of the Arizona Fall League. How did the Brewers prospects do in their debut?
The Arizona Fall League kicked off its 2012 action yesterday. The Brewers prospects this year have been assigned to the Phoenix Desert Dogs, along with prospects from the Athletics, Braves, Marlins and Rays organizations.
Brewers prospects you'll see in the league this year:
P: Nick Bucci, Kyle Heckathorn, Johnny Hellweg, Santo Manzanillo, Jimmy Nelson
IF: Hunter Morris, Josh Prince
OF: Khris Davis, Brock Kjeldgaard
Once again the Brewers seem to be using the AFL as a partial rehab league; Bucci, Manzanillo, Davis and Kjeldgaard missed significant time during the 2012 season and Hellweg and Nelson spent some time on the DL for fatigue issues.
