Another day, another few players getting their first winter league action.
I would like to remind people that at this point in all winter ball seasons, both domestic and international, that they're running the pitching staffs like it's spring training; most of these players haven't pitched in a month or more and they're not taking any chances. This is not an indication of future use yet, if ever (especially in the international leagues; those are managed to win championships, not to develop players.)
On the other hand, position changes in the winter leagues may be an indication of future use, either that dictated by the home club or the player himself wanting to learn something new to boost his value.
