There's only one game tonight, and it has the Cardinals in it.
So we can all agree that free pizza is awesome, right? But you know that feeling you get when you show up somewhere with free pizza and all the pizzas have something you don't like on them? That's what tonight's playoff action feels like.
The NLCS continues tonight at 7 when the Cardinals (leading the series 1-0) take on the Giants. Ryan Vogelsong (3.37 ERA, 3.70 FIP regular season, 1.80 ERA, 2.89 FIP postseason) will take on Chris Carpenter (3.71 ERA, 4.09 FIP regular season, 0.00 ERA, 3.45 FIP postseason).
Fun facts:
- Ryan Vogelsong made his major league debut in 2000, and collected a total of ten wins from 2000-2010 before collecting 27 over the last two years.
- Despite making just three regular season appearances in 2012 Chris Carpenter has pitched 531 innings since Opening Day 2011.
Tonight's game will be on Fox with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, as if the Cardinals weren't enough to drive people away.
